The role of SSE is to provide competent professionals who will serve the securities markets. The CFERM programme is the first major initiative. It is proposed to add dedicated full-time and part-time education programmes in securities markets and securities law.

The CFERM programme is exclusively for working executives. It is a six month week-end programme that will develop skills on Risk Management and Financial Engineering. The candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test and interview. Selected candidates with the right aptitude are put through various modules, from the initial grounding to advanced concepts and applications. At the end of the programme, the participants will be well-versed in the contemporary aspects of financial engineering and also would have gained product design. capabilities.

This programme is differentiated on account of the practical inputs and skill development aspects woven in.
